Tax Accountant :

DESCRIPTION: Reporting to the Manager of Income Tax, you will prepare or assist in preparing federal and state income tax returns and estimated payment calculations. You will also support SEC, FERC and other regulatory agency financial reporting obligations by preparing, quarterly tax provisions, footnote disclosures and other income tax related schedules.

REQUIREMENTS: B.S. in Accounting, 3 years recent public accounting experience (including two years in audit with a nationally recognized firm).Viable candidates will also possess a CPA, previous experience preparing income tax accruals in an SEC environment and/or a strong interest and aptitude for income taxes. Other requirements include Excel proficiency, excellent communication and organization skills. Corptax experience and/or an M.S. in Tax is highly desired. In addition to the above technical requirements, the successful candidate will have a proprietary disposition, superior interpersonal skills and a desire to partner with other professionals to achieve successful business outcomes.

SALARY: $55,000-$75,000
